my idols

So let's talk about Idol last night. Theme - songs from the year you were born. The minute I heard that would be the them I knew it was doomed :( I was semi correct. Overall I think the songs sucked, but the performances were pretty good. Let's just say it CONSTANTINE MAROULIS ROCKED :) I predict that Bo will be leaving the show, not because he was evicted, but because he will be arrested for beating the shit out of Constantine ;) I actually had a dream on Monday night that Constantine was being taken off the stage in a stretcher full of blood : S

~Nadia Turner sucked and what the hell were those clothes and that song? Christal Gale did Don't Make My Brown Eyes Blue and that was a much better song. **IF**Nadia stays she needs to rock again.
~Bo Bice is really named Boghart? Holy crap! He might be handsom, not sure. The current group pic on the website makes him look hot, but I AM SICK OF THE FLASH MEDIA!!!!! Anyway, I don't know Freebird and watching it live I didn't care, then watching the tape again before bed I just plain old didn't like the song or the way he did it.
~Anwar Robinson did a song that Jasmine Trias did last year but it was refreshing to hear a man do it. He did a decent job with the octaves. I voted.
~Anthony Federov did a very good job this week. He infused his Marc Anthony-like flavor and a bit of rock edge into a song I didn't know and made me like it. He also looked good I think, don't remember. Simon even liked it :) I voted.
~Vonzell Solomon was awesome! Let's Hear It For The Boy is a great song and Paula was right to call her adorable. She looked cute and sings reallly well. Not anyone could just get up there and sing that high and keep their energy up for that whole song, I don't even imagine Kelly Clarkson could do that! I bet Diana DeGarmo could...
~I was actually quite impressed with Scott Savol last night. I think he dressed nice, I think he sang very well. I think he should have shut his mouth at the end, but very good overall. I thought the low notes were just like 'note note note note' but then he gracefully went along with the rest of the song and was marvelous!
~Carrie Underwood, oh no! Love is a battlefield? AAAAHHHH!!!! I think she was vocally horrible, and I think she's got throat problems this week but eeeegads! She looked like she's lost weight though. Looked a little wider before or something.
~CONSTANTINE MAROULIS DID THE BEST OF THE NIGHT!!!! That could very well be the highlight of the season :) That could be his big bang performance :) I just screamed when I saw his intro and knew it would be great!
Who do I think should be the bottom 2? Nadia and Bo (ducks from objects being thrown). Now if I had been part of this week, I would have done my research on the year I was born and made my list of the top 5 songs of that year according to whatever standards, billboard, radio, something and done one of those songs. Whatever.
