Oliver :(

My cat died.  He was 18.  He was an orange tabby cat named Oliver Rex :)  Yup, we do middle names here.  Anyway was my puppycat.  I'm weird.  

He was about 10-15 lbs.  In the end he got really sick.  He was meowing all the time and being weird.  We just thought he was old.  We didn't get him help right away.  When we came back from vacation in June, my friend Megan who had watched him while we were gone, said he was screaming all the time.  He rallied back from one round of weekly fluid treatments.  Doctor said it was his kidneys that were failing.  

He was my son and I was his mommy.  He didn't care for me much though and I presume that is because 1 - he was a cat and 2 - I didn't feed him.  That was mom's deal.  Oh well.  He was such a tiny kitten that we would often lose him because he'd be sleeping on the basket of dog toys and he blended in and looked like a toy.  I loved the first time he ever saw a mirror and wondered who that other cat was.  I used to lay on the ground and watch tv and he would sleep on my butt.  (It's big and cushiony.)  He grew too big for that eventually.  

Oh well.  I'm sad that my baby is gone but I love him very much and I am happy he is playing with a bunch of catnip up in heaven.  

Premier Jewelry Debut

I am so happy and grateful right now I think I could just explode! Tonight was my big debut party. I had been feeling upset because I kept getting people telling me no or not really answering me. I only got 4 absolute promises and due to weather, one of those canceled. I swear to you, I spent two hours balling hystarically thinking that nobody loved me enough to come to the party. Something logical in my mess of a brain realized that this was not true at all, but I couldn't stop taking this personally. I knew I had to be grateful and give honor to the few who would take time out of their lives to come. Eventually, I was able to come around and "take a deep breath, hold my head up, put my shoulders back and look ya straight in the eye." We had my party at La Carretta in Schererville for 3 wonderful friends of mine. 1 set a June party, 1 got the grand prize and was very impressed with our wonderful jewelry and will probably do a show for me. Overall the party was in the $400 range and I'm so dumbfounded that this has happened.

Facebook is being stupid, bitstrips won't work, everything not working.  Need an outlet.  Grrrr.  I was attempting to announce that I am considering doing NO POP NOVEMBER.  We shall see if it lasts.  I will probably have a nervous breakdown.  I am a senior in college finally.  Looks good for a graduation in summer.  Oh boy.  I've never been a senior in college before.  Guhduhbuhduhduh.

Monday, June 17
     I thought we were going to Leehi Acres today (that's not spelled right.)  We were going to see Uncle Bob and Aunt Helen's property and sign papers making us the inheritants of the land.  Does that make sense?  Probably not.  Doesn't matter, we aren't going.  Not going to happen.  Crazy family comes all this way... oh well.  It's at the bottom left of the state where all the hurricanes hit anyway.  Maybe not the best place to build a house.  :) 
     So we went back to Old Town, after we went to Bon Worth for mom.  Grrrrr.  I took the iPad with in search of wifi.  There wasn't any at Old Town.  I did get a blue hoodie jacket with Florida Est. 1876 or something on it.  Please don't worry about the accuracy of anything I write in this post lol.  Maybe not even in this whole blog lol :) 
     For dinner mom and dad did the coolest thing ever!!!!  WE WENT TO BENNIGANS!!!  Well, it turned out to be a BRANnigans, but close enough.  They had a rockin' monte cristo :)  More important, FREE WIFI :)  I got to update my candy crushing saga!!!!!  Before we leave, I'm goin to see if we can just park the car in the parking lot there for a few moments so I can update the wifi and get more candy to crush lol.  I'm diabolical bwahahahahaha!!!!!
     Tomorrow Magic Kingdom!  Card game.  New Fantasy land!  Happy Clappy!

Tues, June 18
I know yellow is hard to read, so I'll make it bigger.  Today was MK.  I got soooo sunburned :*(  It's my own fault.  I took the sunscreen upstairs for when I got dressed, and completely forgot to put it on lol.  Genius!  I don't want to admit it though.  We were actually quite bored and hot and cranky.  Mom didn't even buy anything.  As we were leaving, it rained lightly and got worse and worse and worse.  It was a bit scary on the monorail.  When we got to the tram to take us back to the parking lot, the world ended.  I'm sure it is because we parked in the Villians section.  It was probably sunny everwhere else ;)  The lot was flooded, it was tsunami-ing, and when we finally arrived at the car, we were just soaked to the damn bone!  Guhduhbuhduhduh!

When we got home I almost cried at how burnt I was.  It's similar to how burnt I was last year in Daytona.  At least I wore a tank top so my back didn't burn. 

Well tomorrow is Epcot, but I'm trying to stall while my burn recovers :(

Notes:  MK has free wifi but it's slooooow.  I gave my card game away Waste of time. 

Falgier Florida Fiasco 2013!

Hello.  I will try to adjust the dates on this since I am back-blogging.  We are currently in the Sunshine State.  Here is how the first days of our 2013 adventure have been going. 

June 13, 2013  9:15am
Hey there!  I am so exhausted!  I haven't slept much.  Well, I slept more than Dude.  I am watching to make sure mom's breakfast doesn't fall from the coat hanger.  We forgot the poll for the feeding tube, so we are getting creative :)  We left at 9pm last night - about 6 hours late, but hey!  I  have a cut under my left toe.  I want to sleep.  I took Neuro sleep for the car ride but was too jumpy and uncomfortable.  Also could not recline the seat.  I think I only forgot my travel diary and bath bombs.  Diary may be left behind in Vegas.  Not good!  We were caught off guard but the unannounced arrival of Megan while we were doing our last minute panic packing, so I was a little distracted and forgot the bath bombs. 
2:30 pm
Bored bored bored bored!  Sleepy, awake, hungry, can't reach the snack bag, ugh!  Don't want to read, or watch movies, or listen to music!  44 miles to Valdosta, GA.  Wonder when we get OJ!  Road construction sucks!

Friday, June 14
OMG so tired and kinda stinky.  We haven't recovered yet.  Dude seems to have unpacked his sense of humor though :)  We are probably just chilling out today.

Went to the pool.  Ate lunch, went to Old Town.  Saw stuff.  Spent $2.33 on a 20oz Dew :(  Took pizza home, meh.  Tomorrow Florida Mall. 

Saturday June 15
Woke up and showered.  Starting to pick up a bit of sun!  Need more.  Went to Florida mall.  Once again, all I bought was food - an Auntie Anne's Pretzel :)  I kind of overlooked something when I was at a kiosk.  Should have bought the manicure set from Dead Sea Cosmetics.  Mine is almost out.  Oh, I actually wore makeup today!  I findthat when I rush, I manage not to put on too much.  I really like these Too Face collections.  I planned to go to Unitarian Universalist Church of Orlando tomorrow, but Dude got concerned about the world, so I gave up.  Tomorrow stuff and more stuff.

Sunday June 16 Father's Day!
Happy Dude's Day, Dude!  Now go find me some damn wifi to fix the iPad.  We went to the pool this "morning" (meaning 1pm)  Got some more sun.  A wee bit burnt on the chest.  Later, we went to Downtown Disney.  Got some stuff for me and friends.  Didn't get Dude anything.  Poor Dude!

End of the 2012 World

Well Aloha!
The year is wrapping up and the world didn't end.  Take that, Mayans!  Once again, blogger seems to have a new formatting.  Oh well.  This I can handle.  Want to know what I'm discovering?  I am a bad person.   I really need to do something to get this under control.  I need more compassion.  I don't want it, but I need it lol. 
It was a small Christmas this year.  Mom has been in the hospital and hasn't gotten out much which is fine. I don't want really anything in particular.  I've gone into that phase now that I'm 30 where collecting a bunch of stuff doesn't matter as much to me.  Very very strange.  I have come to the realization that it's better to really think about someone and give a meaningful gift than just to give anything.  Maybe it's better in some situations to give no gift at all.  You know what I mean?  Like that saying if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.  Maybe for the case of gift giving it should be, if you can't give from the heart, don't give.  It's better to be thoughtful or to receive a gift from someone who took some time to think about things. 
I have so much more to say but I'm not really able to get it out right now.  I just want to finish by saying I'm working on it.  I'm not perfect but soon I will be better.  Thanks to everyone who helped me realize it.  Thanks to everyone else who has been an angel in my life when I haven't noticed it.  I'm sorry to the people I've hurt and lost contact with over the years.  I'm sure there is more than one person.  I may post again before the year is up about all the rest of this stuff. 
Finally, props to the Pope for his Christmas sermon this year.  I thought it was genius.

OMG I've never been so stupid and humiliated in my life. School started Monday. Who knew? Not me! I just pissed of 2 PROFESSORS at Purdue cal :( One almost told me off in front of the whole class since I actually made it today, the other looked at me asking himself if I was for real. *sigh* and I was so excited about this semester :*(
